PREPOC Initiative

Papyrus and partner Group Croissance initiated a consultation process to mobilize non-public sectors and influential members of civil society, the donor community, and the private sector to contribute to the drafting of the three-year Post-Covid Economic Recovery Plan and to reassure the public that the Government of Haiti will make every effort to consult the population.

The purpose was to build on activities initiated by the Ministry of Finance of Haiti (MEF) by creating greater transparency and broader participation in the fiscal budget processes and promoting the MEF’s intent to routinely consult the public on decisions that matter most to them and that have far-reaching consequences on communities around the country.
